The Presidio Theatre is a newly renovated 600-seat venue located in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The theatre is a historic gem that has been restored to its original 1939 Art Deco design.

Rideshare

Rideshare is an excellent way to get to the Presidio Theatre and will drop you at the the theater entrance.

Parking

Parking is free after 6pm, and is available in the Main Post Parade Lawn lot, about 150 yards away from the theater, along with various other street parking options nearby.

Public Transit

The Presidio Theatre is accessible by MUNI routes 30 and 43. Another option is the Presidio Go, a free shuttle that runs seven days a week from Embarcadero BART and Transbay Terminal with stops throughout the Presdio. All Presidio Go shuttles have wheelchair ramps and bike racks.

Health and Safety

Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems have been reviewed and upgraded where necessary to meet the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. Air changes per hour are carefully monitored to ensure the safest possible audience environment. MERV-13 or higher filters are in place. Restrooms have been upgraded with no-touch handwashing and will be cleaned multiple times prior to the performance. Enhanced theatre cleaning practices are also in place.
