SAN FRANCISCO, CA—December 7, 2020—San Francisco Performances (SFP) announces in compliance with COVID-19 safety guidelines on international travel, the following artist cancellations to its performance schedule:

  • The performance of Beatrice Rana (piano), and Renaud Capuçon (violin) on the Great Artists series originally scheduled for Thursday, February 25, 2021, 7:30pm in Herbst Theatre has been canceled.
  • The performance of Nicola Benedetti (violin), Leonard Elschenbroich (cello) and Alexei Grynyuk (piano) on the Great Artists series originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 10, 2021, 7:30pm in Herbst Theatre has been canceled.
  • The performance of Chiaroscuro Quartet on the Chamber series originally scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2021, 7:30pm in Herbst Theatre has been canceled.
  • The performance of Modigliani Quartet on the Chamber series originally scheduled for Thursday, March 18, 2021, 7:30pm in Herbst Theatre has been changed to Wednesday, March 17, 2021, 7:30pm in Herbst Theatre.

Patrons who hold tickets to a CANCELED performance have these options:

  • Apply the value of the tickets towards a subscription or single performance in the 2020–21 season
  • Donate the (tax-deductible) tickets to San Francisco Performances
  • Apply the value of the tickets toward a gift certificate which can be held or given to someone else
  • Request a full refund

PLEASE NOTE: 2020–21 season subscriptions are currently still available for purchase. Single tickets to upcoming performances will become available on a TBD schedule.
