The Marines Memorial Theatre is an intimate 650-seat jewel box theatre located in the heart of San Francisco's theatre district between Union Square and Nob Hill. The Marines' Memorial Theatre is an historical landmark, built in 1926 dedicated to bringing the best national, international and local Music, Dance, Author Talks & Lectures and theatrical/film presentations to Bay Area audiences.

The Marines’ Memorial Theatre is easily accessible by public transportation. The 2 Clement, 3 Jackson, and 4 Sutter all travel up Sutter Street and stop less then a block from the hotel. The Powell Street Cable Car also stops at Sutter and Powell. The 2 Clement is an easy transfer from the Embarcadero BART Station, and the Powell Street Cable Car is an easy transfer from the Powell Street BART Station as well as all Market Street Muni Lines.
By Car From the Golden Gate Bridge
After crossing the bridge, take US 101 to Lombard Street and turn right on Van Ness Avenue. Turn left on Bush Street, then right on Mason Street and right again onto Sutter Street. Theatre is on the corner of Sutter and Mason Streets.
BY car From the Bay Bridge
After crossing the bridge, take the Fremont Street exit and turn left onto Fremont Street. Fremont becomes Front Street, stay in the center lane and cross Market Street. Turn left on to Pine Street, then left onto Mason Street and finally right on Sutter Street. Theatre is on the corner of Sutter and Mason Streets.
By Car From the peninsula via 101
Take US101 North and exit at 7th Street. Stay on 7th Street (going North) and cross Market Street. Turn right onto Leavenworth Street, then right on Bush Street. Turn right at Mason Street and right again on Sutter Street. Theatre is on the corner of Sutter and Mason Streets.
The two largest and closest parking garages are the Sutter-Stockton Garage, located at 410 Stockton at Sutter, and the Union Square Garage, located at 333 Post between Powell and Stockton. There are other smaller garages around the area as well.
