23rd Annual Season Gala
San Francisco Performances celebrates the Bay Area debut of Sweden’s acclaimed Cullberg Ballet with the Gala Event of the Season
On October 23, 2002, San Francisco Performances was host to Her Royal Highness Princess Christina of Sweden, Swedish Consul General Barbro Osher and Mr. Bernard Osher at our annual fundraising Gala featuring the Sweden's acclaimed Cullberg Ballet. Proceeds from the Gala will fund our many arts education activities throughout the year.
Over 440 guests enjoyed an elegant evening at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts beginning with a cocktail reception, a Gala dinner, and a performance of Swan Lake choreographed by Mats Ek. A post-performance party with the dancers capped off an evening of great artistry and celebration.
